The first Midorj is created accidentally, through a night discover. From a drawer full of electronic spare parts which, all piled up without a proper order or logic,took the shape of small creatures from a parallel universe, the first Midorj took shape. That’s when a small army of little animals was created immersing these creatures into resin,following the idea of small bugs stuck into amber,so that they could be preserved, protected from ageing with a new meaning, a new goal, a new life. This brand, connected to Japan through its name and for theinspiration to the collective idea of strong technological development of this country,In reality is 100% italian.

Midorj  ”green” in japanese, is born from the intuition,the experience and creativity of an italian handcraft maker. In her Midorj creations the Architect Camilla Andreani puts all her knowledge of materials,the experience of special handcraft techniques and a constant work of research and experiment.A line of products that all have one common detail: Midorj is every item, being a jewel, accessory, bracelet or else which is created through an handcraft process of recycling.Created in a century where new technologies are playing the strongest role, but also where the attention for a sustainable development is high,as well as environmental protection,recycle and handcraft experience, Midorj is the star of its time. Every  item is created through a totally handcraft process,handmade piece by piece  using industrial products (like epoxy resin) and electronic waste (like oldtv motherboards, microchips and other electronic processors), putting together the mass production with the design custom-oriented and the handcraft  experience. That’s why every item, specifically because of such process, is unique.
