HYUN-SEOK SIM has exhibited extensively in Korea, Japan and USA . He manages to reinvent the known, the familiar to make ‘the old’ new again. Jewellery becomes a way to refresh our vision of the old familiar world. Hyun-seok perceives the body as the gallery, or public sculptural space, and jewellery as sculpture for the body. With this in mind, he considers the harmony between wearer, viewer and artwork. Hyun-seok completed a Master of Fine Arts at Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, Halifax, Canada. He has exhibited widely internationally.
